Weras Ganga Park is most affordable park in Colombo. It
mainly consists of below features 1.45Km distance walk way, same distance cycle
way and food court.Bellanwilla park is popular hangout place in Colombo.

Weras Ganga Park

This public park is Located
in the Borelesgamuwa area and it is 15min from the Galle road.Weras Ganga park
is located next top the Bellanwilla Rajamaha Viharaya.The walking path is going
around the Pillawa temple and Werag Ganga .Weras ganga park is open toi the
public on 2014.Sri lankan Navy and the 
Sri lankan  Army are the two
parties who carried out the construction work under the leadership of Gotabaya
Rajapakse who is the Secretary for the Urban Development Authority at that time.Boralesgamuwa
park is initialted by the Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and Development
Corporation based on the Study carried out with the JICA.

Weras Lake is perfect spot
for the cycling and jogging. Skating also common for the Bellanwila Park.
Author has visited the park during the night time and saw the calm and quite enviorment
inside the Weras Ganga park.

Several food outlets are located in the Bellanwila park
lounge area. Visitors can find vast selection of food at the court. Wok express
is offering the Chinese and the Thai Cuisine.Roma Pizzeria is the best spot to
find the Pizza.Sri Lankan Rice and Curry offer from the Rovinka, Hot Cabin and
the Dunhinda. Due to the weekday and also night lounge is fully empty which
help to writer to relax his mind. The sound of the wind and the insects who has
add a little sound to break the quietness of the park.

These five birds are Bar headed Goose . They are freely move here and there. The reason for behind that
is park is not empty so no one is interrupt for them. In day time public use
these track so Goose’s not much move that’s why they are busy in the night time.

Bar headed goose is the one of the world highest flying bird.
This bird migrating over the Himalaya to South Asian parts to spend the winter.
Mostly they spend their winter time in the Barley, Rice and the wheat fields.
Reason for the goose spend the time in these field to feed them self. Bar headed
is weighs 1.87Kg to 3.2Kg and the total length is 71cm to 76cm.

These statues are also attracted place in the park. Elephant
statue is the Authors favorite one.Sri Lankan elephant is largely restricted to
the Dry zone of Northeast and the South east or Sri Lanka.As per the IUCN
Elephant population has declined 50% for last three decades and the reason is the
increasing of human and the elephant conflict. Writer hope to discuss these

Leopard has been listed as vulnerable
on IUCN Red list as leopard population is less than 800 mature individuals.Popular
zoologist Paul Peries Daraniyagala first discover the Sri lankan leopard on
1956.These creatures.Sri lankan leopard’s lifespans rangte from 12 to 15 years
in th wild.Mawuldeniya,Pitadeniya and Nallathaniya where the few Melanistic
leopard found and the Melanstic leopad are very rare.Blogger hopes to discuss

Rain season will be begin in the May and the September the season will be end. Monsoon winds are the mostly reason for Raining season. Southeast and the Mountainous areas and the Mostly Humid areas and also raining season influence the Humidity.
